What are laboratory-grown gemstones?
Laboratory-grown gemstones are genuine gemstones created using advanced technology which recreates the natural conditions in which gemstones form.
They share the same chemical composition, crystal structure and optical beauty as their naturally formed counterparts. The difference lies only in their origin-one is created beneath the Earth’s surface over millions of years, while the other is grown in carefully controlled laboratory conditions.
The result is a real gemstone with exceptional colour, brilliance and durability. If you would like to find out more please email us at grown@titcombebespoke.co.uk.
Natural or Laboratory-Grown?
Choosing between natural and laboratory-grown gemstones is a personal decision. Some clients are drawn to the rarity and geological history of natural gemstones, while others appreciate the consistency, innovation and value offered by laboratory-grown alternatives.
At Titcombe Bespoke, we don’t believe there’s a right or wrong choice. Instead, we take the time to explain your options and help you select the gemstone that best suits your design and aspirations. If you would like to find out more please email us at grown@titcombebespoke.co.uk.
Important information: throughout our website, we may use familiar terms such as lab-grown or laboratory-grown when describing our gemstones. However, the recognised gemmological terminology is synthetic, meaning a gemstone created in a laboratory rather than formed naturally. Synthetic does not mean imitation or fake.
